Shop, Dine, & Win! Contest
November 23 - December 15​

Shop and dine at your favorite Occoquan businesses for a chance to win $100 in Occoquan business gift cards! Over $1,500 in gift cards to specific Occoquan businesses will be awarded.

Holiday Lights, Laughter & Art

Get ready to jingle all the way into the Holiday Season! Come hang out with our talented artists and enjoy the joy and wonder of the holidays. Unique gifts, art demos and tasty treats! Tis the Season!

Occoquan Town Events
Saturday, November 23rd - 5pm - 9pm
Town Hall - 314 Mill Street

Holiday Firelight: 5pm – 9pm
It's a night of fire pits, marshmallow roasting, caroling, hot cocoa, and more! This event is a toasty way to enjoy the start of the holidays in historic Occoquan. Before and after the Tree Lighting, enjoy Holiday Firelight near the Mill House Museum (413 Mill Street). Marshmallows for roasting are free. Hot cocoa, hot cider, plus s'mores kits can be purchased onsite.

Annual Town Tree Lighting - 6pm
It's the big event! Join us in front of Town Hall for our annual holiday tree lighting. Mayor Earnie Porta will officiate this time-honored tradition, as Occoquan residents and visitors gather to kick off the holiday season.

Shop Late - until 8:00 p.m.
Shop Occoquan and enjoy the first day of Holiday Fest! When you #shopsmall and #shoplocal, you're supporting your neighborhood artists, shop keeps, restaurant owners and their hardworking staff. Businesses are busy curating unique holiday selections just for you and several will be open until 8:00 p.m. or later!

Come out this Friday night, Nov. 1st, and enjoy the Fall Gallery Walk in Old Town Manassas, featuring artists in participating stores (follow the balloons)! I’ll be at the Manassas Art Guild yacking about painting with alcohol inks and textures. This is a great time to get a jump on Christmas shopping! I hope to see you there!!

Join the Town of Occoquan's family-friendly Occoquan Costume Parade & Contest!!

Town of Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta (aka Iron Man) will lead the parade down Mill Street to River Mill Park, where costume judging will take place. Judging categories include: cutest, scariest, funniest, most original, and family/group. 1st place winners in each costume category will be awarded $25 gift certificates that can be used in select businesses throughout town. 
 
Parade participants will line up near the Riverwalk Shops at 125 Mill Street. The 100 through 400 blocks of Mill Street will be briefly closed on a rolling basis between 10:00-10:30am. There is no fee to participate. This event is open to everyone! No advance registration is necessary.

 Fall Festival!

Save the date for Occoquan's annual Fall Arts & Crafts Show!

Held in the streets of Historic Occoquan, the Fall Arts & Crafts Show features two packed days of a wide range of hundreds of Makers and Creators in over 20 categories. 

Art A La Carte Gallery will be open and participating in the show and will have artists tents set up.

“Kevin Poorman, artist with our Gallery, donated his original painting, “Streets and Structures of Occoquan” to the Occoquan Mayor and Town Council at their September meeting in appreciation for all the Town does to support the arts. This painting will be displayed in the Town Hall building for everyone to enjoy. Congratulations Kevin for this amazing artwork! You made us proud!”
