1. Do you have to apply to be an artist at Art A La Carte Gallery?
Yes, you do. Fill out the online application and upload images for review in order to get the ball rolling. You may find the application by clicking on the Join Our Gallery tab at the top of the page or click here.

2. What is the process and how long does it take to join Art A La Carte?
The steps are as followed:
Step One: You must apply by filling out the online application, along with submitting photos of your work.
Step Two: An overall review of your application and photos will be done by the Jury Committee.
Step Three: If your work is professional and unique, there is no conflict of interest with another artist already in the gallery and the jury committee feels you could be a good fit, the jury committee will send your application and photos to 3 of your peers.
Step Four: Your application and photos will be sent to three artists of your peers that already reside in the gallery. The majority of the votes of the 3 artists and 2 jury committee memebers determine if you go to the next step.
Step Five: If you get the majority vote of yes's there will be an in person interview set up to determine the acceptance or denial of entry into the gallery. This interview consists of the artists that were on the panel, a jury committee and the manager.

This process takes 2-4 weeks.

3. What kind of art do you accept into Art A La Carte?
We accept all mediums including: painting, photography, jewelry, textiles, wood, glass, clay, mixed media, and many others.

4. What is expected of an artist that is a member of Art A La Carte?

Our Local Artists are required to work at least one shift of desk duty per month.

Display Walls are $80-$200 per month, depending on the wall size and location.

Once approved to join, setup / admin fee is $100

Artists are required to join a committee or volunteer to do events every so often.
5. What are the photo upload requirements?
​Artists are asked to upload up to ten (10) digital images after completion of the online application. These images should
be representative of available work, work that has been done in the last 3 years for consideration as applications become available.
Please include dimensions, title and medium in cunjuction with each image. Images can be uploaded through the online application and should be .jpg or PNG. If you have higher resolution images you may provide a Google Drive or Drop Box Link to us.
